Weekday Christian Preschool’s mission is to provide a safe, creative, loving Christian environment where children develop confidence and character as a foundation for future success and a love of learning. Teachers create a loving environment based on developmentally appropriate practices where your child will excel to the highest level of their ability. Collaboration between home and school allows us to share the common goal of wanting only the best for your child.

 

We are licensed by the state of Texas, and follow the guidelines outlined in Minimum Standards, and Texas Pre-K guidelines.

OUR CLASSROOMS

All classrooms are set up in learning centers. Each is equipped with age appropriate toys and books. Some areas of learning are: blocks, dramatic play, sand and water, woodworking, puzzles and games, art, writing, library, and computer. We also have two playgrounds for outdoor play and learning.

Class Sizes

Toddler class: (4 children – 1 teacher)

2 YO class: (10 children – 2 teachers)

3 YO class: (12 children – 2 teachers)

4 YO class/Pre-K program: (16 children – 2 teachers)

COVID-19 Health and Safety

​

We take seriously the health and safety of our students, families, and teachers. We have daily procedures to help ensure as safe environment as possible. Masks are optional.

Our curriculum is theme based, hands on learning. We use the “Creative Curriculum” as a guide and the “TEA Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines”

Special Enrichment:

  • Weekly Spanish and Music Classes

  • Monthly chapel designed for preschoolers

  • Other enrichment programs include:

  • Community helpers, music appreciation, science and literacy

Tuition is based on a 9 month school year and is divided into equal monthly payments payable at the beginning of the month. (*Cost includes tuition, activity fee, technology usage fee.)

Genesis Weekday Christian Preschool has been a part of our family for over six years. Locating Genesis was an absolute blessing! The school made an immediate and lasting impression. every day. WCP is a phenomenal preschool and we feel so privileged that our son is able to go there. We love the school so much that we drive 40 mins to get there! The teachers and curriculum are exceptional and we love that they also offer a music and Spanish class. Our family has had a wonderful experience at weekday Christian preschool! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the teachers are phenomenal. Each teacher has gone above and beyond to get to know my child, their interests, and special needs or concerns. I appreciate the wide spectrum of subjects they are exposed to, including music in Spanish classes, as well as the variety of teaching methods used. I have seen tremendous growth from both boys in the year that they have been at WCP. They are happier and more confident in themselves.
