School is out May 28 and resumes again on September 1.  The office will be open during the Summer, Monday thru Thursday, 8:30am – 12:30pm.  The office will be closed the week of June 28 and reopen on July 6.  If you have further questions please email us at weekdaypreschool@yahoo.com or call the office at 817-294-5725.

There is a $75 (non-refundable) registration fee due at the time application is submitted.

 

About Us:

Ages:

We enroll children who are 18 months through 5 years. (Age on September 1, 2010)

Monday-Friday: 9-12 (extended hours until 2:30pm)

Toddlers: 4 children & 1 teacher

2 yr olds: (10 children & 2 teachers)

3 yr olds: (12 children & 2 teachers)

• Tuesday/Thursday;
• Monday/Wednesday/Friday

4 yr olds/preK (14 children & 2 teachers)

• Monday/Wednesday/Friday
• Monday-Friday 

Staff: 

Our staff is made up of experienced teachers, most of whom have college degrees. 

All are CPR certified and trained in first aid and all take 15 hours of training in child development, and related fields each year. 

All classrooms have two teachers.

 

Curriculum: 

Our curriculum is theme based, hands on learning. 

We use the “Creative Curriculum” as a guide and the “TEA Pre-kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines” 

 

Classrooms:

Our rooms are set up in learning centers equipped with age appropriate toys and books. 

 

Some areas of learning are:

• Blocks
• Dramatic Play
• Sand/ Water /Woodworking
• Puzzles and Games Art Writing/Library/Computer
