Programs and Student Ministries
Todd Treat has served as the Director of Programs and Student Ministries at Genesis United Methodist Church since August of 2006.
Todd was born in Amarillo, TX into a Methodist preacher’s family.Growing up as a preacher’s kid, Todd has seen much of the world or at least west Texas and has a deep appreciation for the Methodist church. Todd received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from McMurry University and his master’s degree from Springfield College in the fields of Counseling and Sport Psychology.
Todd brings over ten years of experience working in student ministries to the Genesis community and has a love for working with people of all ages.He works hard to bring creativity and energy into the church to give anyone who comes through the doors a chance to experience God’s grace within the church walls.
In his spare time, Todd enjoys all sports, both watching and playing, games, movies and music.During college basketball season, you will often find him watching games, especially when the Duke Blue Devils are playing. Todd is married to Renee Treat and they have two Yorkshire Terriers named Duke and Cameron.
